Hyderabad-based EV-as-a-service startup Hala Mobility has raised ₹51 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by founders Srikanth Reddy and Snehith Reddy and Phani Ramineni of Previa Health. Other investors include the Rohan Bajaj syndicate, Sarthy Angels, Bestvantage, and several HNIs and family offices. The round combines debt and equity funding.

- Founded in 2020: Hala provides EV management software and services for e-commerce and gig economy workers.

Hala’s Platform and Partnerships
Hala’s platform ensures a 95% uptime and 24/7 availability, partnering with Bigbasket, Zomato, and Zepto for last-mile logistics. The company collaborates with 13 scooter manufacturers and 8 battery producers and operates S3 stations for managing EV demand.
Expansion Goals
With the new funding, Hala plans to expand to six more cities beyond its current operations in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vizag, Vijayawada, and Guntur. It aims to deploy 10,000 new electric vehicles by December next year, growing its fleet from the current 3,000 electric two-wheelers.
