JSW MG Motor India has announced the acceleration of seven AI-focused startups as part of its MG Developer Program (MGDP) Season 5.0, which aims to foster innovation in electric mobility. The program, launched in early 2024, received over 100 applications from across India, with seven startups selected to develop AI-driven solutions for electric vehicles (EVs). These startups include Anuvega Powertronics, Aselector Technologies, Emerging Technologies, Gudlyf Mobility, Power Jet (EV Urjaa), Ravity, and Vocbot AI.

The theme of this year's MGDP, "AI in Electric Mobility," encourages startups to explore how AI can reshape both business operations and everyday mobility solutions. Over the coming months, these startups will work on pilot projects and ongoing programs to showcase the real-world applications of their technologies in electric mobility.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer of JSW MG Motor India, emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in addressing the challenges of electric mobility. By providing a supportive environment and access to resources through partners like Startup India, Manthan, and industry leaders like AWS, Exicom, and Lohum, the program helps these startups scale their AI solutions for the EV market.

This initiative continues to build on the success of the MG Developer Program, which has already collaborated with over 34 startups since its inception in 2019, providing mentorship and resources to help them grow and succeed in various areas of connected cars and electric mobility.
