Modi highlighted this narrative on the social media platform X, complementing it with a video from Union Minister Hardeep Puri. He praised Goyal's path as "inspiring" and reaffirmed the government's dedication to fostering a supportive ecosystem for startups.

In the shared video, Goyal recounted his early days starting Zomato in 2008, when his father would doubt his startup potential due to their humble origins. Goyal noted significant changes over the past decade, especially attributing improvements to recent government initiatives.

At the event, Sunil Vachhani, Chairman of Dixon Technologies, shared his company's shift from importing all its electronics to manufacturing nearly all domestically, projecting soon to export $100 billion worth of mobile phones, a change he credits to current government policies.

Nitin Jain, Founder of Ofbusiness, praised the Modi administration for expanding opportunities for SMEs through the Digital India initiative, which has significantly benefited small contractors and businesses.
