Rockit Raises Rs 6 Crore Led by Sauce.VC and Rannvijay Singha

Rockit, a beverage brand founded by Vedant Garg, has successfully raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed investment round led by Sauce.VC and Rannvijay Singha.

Sauce VC, a notable early-stage consumer investor, has invested in Rockit at the ideation stage. The firm is actively collaborating with Rockit's management to identify market gaps and build a unique brand in the beverage industry. Rockit, which offers a range of energy drinks, is initially targeting an omnichannel presence in North Indian states such as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, with plans for a nationwide expansion.

Vedant Garg, Founder of Rockit Superfoods, stated, “The Indian consumer preferences are evolving, aligning with global standards. We aim to provide similar products with an Indian touch to the youth in Tier II and III cities. Distribution is key in India, and our family's five-decade legacy in the food business has equipped us well. There is a significant opportunity in India with limited presence of MNCs, mostly in metro cities. Our focus is on an omnichannel presence, starting with major states like UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, and MP, and gradually expanding nationwide. Expanding our product range from energy drinks to various offerings will bring unique value to Indian consumers.”

Rannvijay Singha expressed his excitement, saying, “I'm thrilled to work with the Rockit team on launching their innovative new energy drink. The taste and brand capture the energy of India's youth, and we have exciting campaigns planned to introduce it to consumers.”
