Zyod, a Gurugram-based tech startup founded by Ankit Jaipuria and Ritesh Khandelwal in early 2023, has raised $18 million in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global. Additional investors include Lightspeed, Alteria Capital, Stride Ventures, Stride One, and Trifecta Capital. The startup, which provides ERP software, aims to streamline the design-to-delivery process for global fashion brands, and now serves over 550 customers across 18 countries, including major players like Reliance Industries and Aditya Birla.

The ERP platform, referred to by Jaipuria as the "brain of manufacturing," assists over 80,000 Indian factories in optimizing production. It guides factories in efficiently using resources and materials to maximize capacity utilization, which is typically under 33%. The system also offers a daily production reporting feature, enhancing operational efficiency over traditional paper or WhatsApp-based methods.

With the recent funding, Zyod plans to expand its reach to over 40 countries, targeting growth in the Southern Hemisphere and entering under-tapped markets like Brazil, Australia, Africa, and Scandinavia. This expansion is intended to support all-season product availability for its Indian manufacturing partners.

Additionally, Zyod is enhancing its technological offerings with a new mobile app that supports both iOS and Android platforms, aimed at improving order visibility and operational communication for clients. The startup also intends to further automate its platform to allow brands to directly input design details into the system, reducing human error and streamlining production processes.
