The government has recently announced the launch of a ground-breaking digital platform called 'Bhaskar', designed to strengthen the startup ecosystem in India. This initiative is part of the Startup India programme, led by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Key Features of BHASKAR

    The platform, formally known as the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR), aims to centralize, streamline, and enhance collaboration among critical stakeholders, including:

    • Government bodies

    BHASKAR will act as a one-stop digital platform to address challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors. It will provide:

India is home to over 1,46,000 DPIIT-recognised startups, and BHASKAR seeks to leverage this vast potential. By offering personalized identification for each stakeholder, the platform will:
