T-Hub, India’s leading innovation ecosystem, has signed an MoU with BEYOND4, an accelerator ecosystem in Malaysia, facilitated by the Indian ASEAN Startup Summit (IASS).

The MoU focuses on five key areas to benefit startups in India and Malaysia:

  1. Cross-Border Startup Collaboration: Supports knowledge exchange and innovation.
  2. Investment Facilitation: Eases market entry with strategy, compliance, and network access.
  3. Business Expansion Support: Provides mentorship for establishing and growing operations in new markets.
  4. Innovation Promotion: Advances technology development in key sectors.
  5. Knowledge Exchange: Strengthens entrepreneurial ties through mentorship and collaboration.

Key dignitaries present at the signing included S T Rubaneswaran, CEO of BEYOND4, Isyraq Akram bin Mohd Nasir from Yayasan Pahang, Kalyana Rajasekaran Teagarajan, CEO of EDAC, Mahankali Srinivas Rao, CEO of T-Hub, and officials from IASS.

MSR, CEO of T-Hub, emphasized the partnership's role in fostering a dynamic startup ecosystem and driving innovation. S T Rubaneswaran highlighted the collaboration's potential to break down cultural and geographical barriers, offering startups access to advanced technologies and funding.

BEYOND4’s expansion into India and Europe underscores their commitment to building a comprehensive startup ecosystem, with over 3,000 trained in IR4 technologies and 178 startups supported.

This collaboration reflects successful global partnerships, such as the EU Horizon 2020 initiative and the Singapore-Germany partnership, which have driven technological advancements and thriving startup ecosystems.
